The Ministry of Innovation and Technology proudly commemorates the 17th Ethiopian Flag Day, celebrating under the inspiring motto "Our Flag: Our Unity, Our Sovereignty, Our Elevation."

The Ministry of Innovation and Technology recently celebrated the 17th Flag Day of Ethiopia under the theme "Our flag is for our national unity, sovereignty, and the elevation of Ethiopia." During the event, the Minister of Innovation and Technology, Dr. Belete Mola, emphasized the sacrifices made by past and present generations for the Ethiopian flag.

 He remarked that the strength of the nation is built on the enduring values of sacrifice, development, and intergenerational unity.Dr. Belete highlighted the significant sacrifices associated with the flag and urged the nation to uphold this legacy to further Ethiopia's progress on the global stage. He reflected on Ethiopia's rich cultural heritage, emphasizing the importance of language, culture, and the collective voice of the people. He stressed that it is the duty of the current generation to contribute to the country's development by serving its people.He called upon all employees within the organization to work towards eradicating poverty and backwardness in Ethiopia.

 The minister underscored the need for equitable development, democratic progress, and the goal of achieving middle-income status for the nation in the near future. He urged everyone to overcome current challenges through unity and common purpose, ensuring that the development initiatives and good governance plans set by the government are realized. The promise to achieve these goals was made solemnly in front of the national flag.
